Brand identity, visual architecture and packaging

For Barcel Mexico, the Golden Nuts line is a snack brand that offers a wide variety of peanuts, each prepared in a distinct way.

Our challenge was to communicate a new positioning while emphasizing that every Golden Nuts product undergoes a handcrafted and precise process to achieve an exceptional peanut flavor.

To visually convey the preparation process of each peanut variety, we employed two key approaches:

1. Typography: We used bold, modern typography to clearly highlight the preparation methods—whether roasted, fried, or salted—tailored to each peanut type.

2. Photography: We captured and digitally enhanced images to place the snacks in their preparation context. A small, handcrafted pan was featured to evoke both the rich flavor and the meticulous care involved in their making.

This new visual architecture needed to function across both vertical rectangular formats and elongated horizontal formats for various display applications. Therefore, it was essential that each design element remain recognizable and repeatable, ensuring continuity and consistency throughout the entire product portfolio.
